What are the kinds of Flow Wrap Machines?

Our range offers flexible models to satisfy all production requirements:

  1. Horizontal Pillow-Bag (HFFS) machines like the LP‑250X to LP‑700X, for soft or uneven products.
  2. Twin, high speed servo flow-packers providing the highest possible throughput combined with accuracy.
  3. Pillow-bag reciprocating machines with enhancements suitable for heavier products with heavy, strong seals.
  4. Four-sided seal machines, perfect for the hygienic protection of medical products or patches.
  5. Special applications for shrink-wrap, clay, books, cutlery and more.

Which products can Flow Wrap Machines wrap?

Such machines have little difficulty in dealing with a variety of product types such as:

  1. Food & snacks: bread, noodles, ice-lollies, candies, biscuits, mooncakes
  2. Health & personal care: mask, wet wipes, dressings, plasters
  3. Soft stuff: clay, erasers, sponges
  4. Hardware & industrial Fasteners/screws/pressure studs/parts of industry reibungsteile
  5. Usual suspects: utensils, office suppliers, throw-away dinnerware

What size is the standard bag?

Typical bag size ranges:

  • Width: 60–350 mm (2.4–13.8″)
  • Length: up to 500 mm (19.7″)
  • Film thickness: 0.04–0.12 mm

We also have made-to-measure solutions for ultra-wide pillow packs or extra-long bakery wraps – simply tell us what the goal dimension is!

How to select a suitable flow wrap machine?

When choosing your perfect model, keep the following in mind:

  1. Per year throughput & batches: Align your throughput speed with demand (to get faster ROI).
  2. Fragility & shape of products: Select between rotary or beltless models for fragile products.
  3. Space constraints: Plan for footprint, ceiling heights, and utility access.
  4. Film type & source: Make sure it is suitable with PE, PP, or laminate films.
  5. Degree of automation: From semi-automatic reel change over to fully PLC controlled changes.
  6. After-sale service:Technical support 24/7, parts-train service, visit to the jobsites.

What types of sealing can flow wrap machine provide? (hot seal vs. cold seal)

  • Hot Sealing: Heated jaws seal film layers (PE, PP) for a strong bond — for moisture-proof packs and heavy duty laminates.
  • Cold Sealing: Uses pressure-sensitive adhesives or cold-seal films – no heat is applied preventing temperature sensitive products such as chocolates or pharmaceuticals.

You also can mix the two: cold-seal for first seal, hot-seal for tear-notches or reclose zippers.

How many bag per minute are produced on flow wrap machine?

Here is a range of our series, from entry-level to high-performance:

  • Low-Speed Models: 40–80 bags/min for fragile or unique geometry.
  • Mid-Speed Models: 80–140 bags/min for most bakery, snack, and hardware products.
  • High-Speed Models: from 140-230 bags/min for estimates, with rotary infeed for candy, and fast moving consumer goods.

They can be regulated by means of frequency converter, guaranteeing the quality at the full power.

What is the Servo/Control system of the machine?

Landpack machines have an intelligent control system with the following:

  1. Twin or triple servo drives to synchronize bag feeding, sealing and cutting.
  2. PLC touch screen HMI with saveable product recipes for easy set-up.
  3. Separate PID temperature controllers to allow stable and clean sealing quality on the different films.
  4. The photo-cell detection tracking system can be an optional device. precise cut and seal position.
  5. Embedded diagnostics and field-upgradeable software enabling quick changeovers and easy ongoing maintenance.
