Absolutely. All our equipment can be equipped with a metal detector and or check weigher for food grade and accurate weights. The system will be handling mixed nuts (foul product will be rejected by a metal detector and over/under-filled packs by a checkweigher) as explained in the Automatic Mixed Nut Packing Machine. This ensures that your food packaging is up to all safety regulations and your product remains of a high quality without requiring a stop to filling or sealing processes. These features are also incorporated into VFFS, premade pouch, rotary and horizontal doypack machine systems to ensure total coverage across packing styles.

Production speeds vary according to the machine you choose; however, our bestselling LD‑520 vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) with 10‑head weigher is capable of producing 5–60 bags per minute. At the speed of 30 bags/min using 500g of cashew, the nut packing machine will have an output of 43,200 pouches within a day (if it runs 24 hours). Some of the higher capacity models such as LD‑720/900 can deliver 5–55 bags/min, with film widths that will accommodate a bulk bag, or rotary and horizontal doypack machines can handle some 40–60 bags per minute with pre-made zipper pouches. Actual output depends on product flow characteristics, fill time settings, and changeover.

It provides good support for our range of nuts when packed into everything from mini snack pouches to bulk bags. Vertical machines such as the LD‑420/520 cover opening widths of 60 to 250mm and bag lengths from 80 to 350mm while the higher level models (LD‑720 up to LD‑1200) reach up to 350 to 580mm wide and 1,000mm long. Doypack and rotary pouch machines can accommodate premade bags from 70mm wide to 300mm wide at volumes ranging from 10g to 2500g are particularly good for resealable zipper or spout pouch solutions. Bottle-filling lines include jar & bottle sizes from 30–135mm diameter x 40–200mm height and throughputs of 20–30 containers/min.

Yes. For high-fat nuts such as cashews and almonds, nitrogen flushing is essential to keep them from growing rancid. Our VFFS can feature nitrogen modules mounted between weigh station and seal station so air is pushed away in order to keep everything fresh in packaging. Premade pouch and doypack equipment can also cater for MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) or vacuum. Nitrogen or vacuum caps applied on bottle/jar lines lower the oxygen level within rigid containers increasing product stability and quality.
