What types of rusks and baked products can this machine pack?

Our Rusk Packing Machine Line is designed specifically for delicate, crispy bakery products such as rusks, melba toast, breadsticks, crackers, and tea biscuits. Whether you’re running a specialty bakery or a large-scale snack operation, this line adapts seamlessly to varying textures and product densities, ensuring clean, consistent feeds even for bars or wafers coated in glazes or chocolate.

What packaging formats are supported?

Flexibility is at the heart of our design. This flow-pack line accommodates:

  • Pillow pouches (standard horizontal flow wraps) for individual or multi-pack rusks;
  • Pre-formed bags (zipper or gusseted styles) for premium presentation;
  • Tray-sealed packs with optional film covering, ideal for shelf-ready bakery assortments.

Can the machine handle fragile products without damaging them?

Absolutely. One of the primary design considerations for this machine line is the delicate nature of rusks and similar baked goods. The Rusk Packing Machine Line uses specialized conveyors, gentle feeding mechanisms, and synchronized filling systems to minimize product breakage or crushing during packaging. This careful handling ensures that even the most fragile items reach the consumer intact, maintaining both quality and brand reputation.

Is the machine suitable for different sizes and shapes of rusks?

Yes. Our multi-function feeding system accommodates product lengths from 50 mm to 230 mm and heights up to 70 mm with simple mechanical adjustments. Servo-controlled dispensers and photoelectric alignment guides each item accurately into the film, regardless of whether it’s a thin melba crisp or a thicker energy bar. Recipe-based HMI settings let you store and recall up to 50 product profiles at the touch of a button.

Does the machine include quality control systems such as metal detection or vision inspection?

Quality assurance is built in. Standard options include:

Integrated metal detectors positioned post-sealing to catch any foreign contaminants.

Vision-inspection cameras to verify correct fill position, seal integrity, and the absence of broken pieces or crumbs.

Alarms, automatic reject gates and SPC data logging on the touchscreen HMI keep your line running within your strictest quality parameters.

Can the machine be integrated into an existing production line?

Integration capabilities are a key benefit of the Rusk Packing Machine Line. Designed with modularity and standard communication protocols, the machine can easily interface with upstream processes such as product feeding or portioning and downstream operations like case packing or palletizing.
